With over seven years at the organization, she began as Marketing and Event Director, naturally transitioning into development thanks to her mentor’s guidance. She officially became CDO in January 2025.
Dani Hutchison’s tenure is marked by significant achievements, including the 2021 40 Under 40 award from the Conejo Valley Chamber and LA Community Hero recognition in 2025. During COVID-19, she spearheaded the Y’s free online program, ensuring community access to health, wellness and connection.
Dani and her team, consistently raise funds every year through events, campaigns and grant writing to ensure access to all our programs for all families in our communities. She also directly oversees the California Strong disaster relief program. Under her leadership, this initiative has separately raised over $850,000 in 2025 specifically for fire relief, aiding 850 families who lost homes in the Mountain, Palisades and Eaton fires. Beyond financial aid, she has overseen partnerships distributing over $1.2 million in donated new items like clothing, toiletries, laptops, glasses and gift cards, providing tangible relief.
Among her proudest accomplishments is the Prom Closet and Drive partnership with Soroptimist, a cherished collaboration that has served hundreds of teens over the past couple of years, ensuring every student experiences prom with dignity and joy.
Dani lives in Moorpark with her husband and three children, 11th grade, 6th grade and 4th grade. She loves spending time with her family, taking walks, Christmas, sparkles and all things pumpkin spice.
